Palisade Guardian 2

Palisade Guardian 2 is one of those casual arcade games that gives you the satisfaction of shooting down countless enemy soldiers, vehicles and helicopters using several types of weapons. It has no real challenge to it but if you’re not a good shot, they you might end up having a hard time with it.

Simple clean gameplay

The idea in Palisade Guardian 2 is to eliminate all the existing enemy force before it manages to destroy your headquarters, or whatever the right side building is. As you deal with each wave of soldiers, the next ones become increasingly tougher until alongside the infantry you get howitzers, jeeps, tanks and helicopters.
Each one does different damage and you need to prioritize when it comes to targets. First you should take down the heavy weapons but then again, if you let the infantry pile up and start shooting, you don't solve anything. The best option would be to shoot them down while they are moving.

Upgrade your weapons for extra accuracy and damage

For each wave you clear, you are rewarded with cash that you can spend on better weapons and repairs for the building. The amount you get depends on your overall round accuracy and how many headshots you pull off.
There are several other weapons to purchase, each with improved firepower and accuracy. To make things easier, you can even equip weapons with a scope that considerably helps when aiming. Moreover, you should learn which weapon does the most damage to individual types of enemies, because you can switch between weapons in a round.

A casual game for a casual day

To sum things up, Palisade Guardian 2 is a more than ok game for any day you want to take five and relax a bit. If you’re not looking for a replayable game, this one will do just fine.
