Nature is an important part of people’s lives, even if they do not realize it. We depend on trees and the rest of the plants when it comes to Oxygen and food, which is why it’s pretty confusing to see people working so hard to destroy entire forests. On the other hand, it’s understandable when some folks live surrounded by concrete their entire lives.

A relaxing work in a beautiful forest

The last chance is a first-person adventure in which your only goal is to explore a beautiful forest and make sure that you survive the trek by picking up a few things called “kanjis.” It can be the perfect way to relax after a hard day, especially if you do not have a forest nearby to do this for real. Still, the experience is not meant to keep you busy for long, so it’s definitely not the type of game you’ll remember for years to come.
There’s even a simple story running in the background, although it’s a bit cryptic and awkwardly explained. As it happens, it would appear that humans are no longer living on Earth, which is why you are actually some kind of spirit/flame that must search the forest for energy to stay alive. It’s not very important, on the other hand, because the story has little effect on the atmosphere.

Keep your flame burning at all times

The kanjis you collect are not there just to provide you with a purpose and some interesting thoughts, they are also required to keep your flame burning. Hence, you die if you go for too long without picking one up. The game warns you when the flame is about to go out, but you still need to move quickly in order to find energy before it’s too late.
As for the graphics, the developers did an awesome job designing the environment, because it’s incredibly relaxing to just walk around and admire the scenery. The forest is full of color, not to mention all sorts of dreamy lakes. In addition, you can also walk on the shore and admire an entire ocean, which should put at peace with the world at least for a few minutes.

All things considered, The last chance is obviously not going down in history as a legendary game, but it can be just the right thing for you. Moreover, it can help a lot with stress, especially if you want to see a bit of nature and you have no other options.
