All File Renamer Description
All File Renamer has a title that pretty much explains its functionality - it allows you to rename files. But it can also rename folders in batch mode.
If you are using Windows 7, then make sure to run All File Renamer with administrative privileges. Otherwise, several errors will keep popping up during runtime.
The interface of the application is based on a standard window in which you can easily locate files and folders for processing, thanks to the Exporer-based layout.
So, you can enable the tool to apply changes to files, folders or both, as well as to rename names, extensions or both.
When it comes to renaming, you can add text to left or right, delete or replace symbols, expand or cut text, change the case, insert random symbols, and more.
In addition, you can edit ID3 tags in case of MP3 audio tracks (e.g. title, artist, album, comment), enable the tool to apply changes to all subfolders and to rename MP3 files by using the ID3 tags, and more.
The simple-to-use tool requires a very low amount of system resources, supports several languages for the interface, has a good response time, quickly applies modifications to files and folders, and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. Too bad there is no help file available. Otherwise, we strongly recommend All File Renamer to all users.
