BananaFredSoft MediaPlayer is a small software program specialized in playing audio and video files, and previewing pictures. It can be deployed on all Windows versions out there.

Nothing special about the GUI

The tool does not impress much in the visual department. It reveals a plain layout that includes poor support for playback controls. Files can be imported in the working environment using the built-in browse button (the drag-and-drop support is not implemented).
The application automatically searches for audio files in My Music folder. In case it cannot detect tracks in the user’s directory, it offers you the freedom to manually specify a custom folder that stores the target files.

Playback capabilities

BananaFredSoft MediaPlayer gives you the possibility to watch videos (AVI), listen to audio files (MP3, WAV, WMA), as well as preview pictures (JPG, BMP) directly in the main window. In addition, you are allowed to import all audio files that are kept in a user-defined directory.
