CCF Extractor

CCF Extractor is a tiny and portable piece of kit designed to help you quickly extract IR codes compatible with devices such as the MCE Remote Control from CCF (Pronto) files.
It doesn't integrate rich features or configuration parameters, making it accessible to all types of users, even those less experienced with such software.

Portability benefits

Since installation is not required, you can save the program files anywhere on the HDD and just click the executable to launch CCF Extractor. Otherwise, you can save it to a removable storage unit to directly run it on any computer with minimum effort and no other installers. Plus, unlike most installers, it doesn't alter Windows registry settings.

Simple UI and options

The interface is made from a normal window with a plain and simple structure, where you can point out a Pronto file with the CCF format to extract IR codes from.
It's possible to select the source file format between Pronto grayscale, color and Manrantz mode, change the default destination folder, and ask the tool to overwrite any existing files (with the same time).
All or just the selected IR codes can be extracted to file, and CCF Extractor also lets you save them to IRTans directly. There are no other noteworthy options provided by this software application.

Evaluation and conclusion

No error dialogs were shown in our tests, and CCF Extractor didn't freeze or crash. It extracted the IR codes swiftly while remaining light on the system resources, using low CPU and RAM. All in all, the app gets the job done and can be easily handled by anyone.
