DMEXBar

DMEXBar is a Windows Explorer toolbar extension that will add a couple of features that you might find useful. DMEXBar appears in the toolbar area of the windows explorer showing some new buttons to extend the explorer.
Here are some key features of "DMEXBar":
ï¿­ Open two explorer windows aligned side by side.
ï¿­ Tile all open explorer windows on the screen.
ï¿­ Rename, change date or change attributes of multiple selected files at once either directly via the toolbar or via dialog.
ï¿­ Split and reassamble large files.
ï¿­ Creating "Hot Paths", which are like the "Favourites" in the Internet Explorer, for simple and fast change to these directories
ï¿­ Create new subdirectories - only one mouseclick away
ï¿­ Fast copying and moving of files between two aligned explorer windows by shortcuts.
ï¿­ Synchronise files and directories between two aligned windows.
ï¿­ Open DOS shell windows or run any other user-specified programs using the current directory or selected files as parameters
ï¿­ Select and deselect files with wildcards
ï¿­ Expand and collapse partial tree branches in the tree view of the explorer
ï¿­ Substitute directories as drives (NT compatible OS only)
ï¿­ Copy path and filename information of the selected files to the clipboard
ï¿­ Calculate the total size or used disk space of directories including all subdirectories
NOTE: DMEXCpl and DMEXDrop need Windows XP. DMEXBar might also run on older versions of Windows (95/98/NT) if the Internet Explorer 4 is installed including the desktop update..
