IEP

IEP is an interactive development environment, optimized for Python language, which allows you to easily create, modify or compile your scripts. The application features comprehensive tools for text editing, as well as syntax checking, folder explorer and running multiple shells at the same time.

Reliable environment for creating or running Python scripts

IEP features a comprehensive interface, which offers you quick access to a multitude of functions, files and folders. The text editor allows you to work with multiple projects in parallel, thanks to its support for tabs. Similarly, you may open several shell configurations at the same time, in the dedicated area.
The entire interface of IEP is customizable, you may integrate or de-integrate, move and add editing areas, in order to create a personalized working space.
The program allows you to work with several project files and parse the script with Python 3, C, CPython, Python and Python 2. Moreover, you can change the script encoding method, from the default UTF-8 to ASCII, Latin 1, CP1250 (Windows 1252) or CP1251 (Windows 1251).

Text and shell editor

IEP allows you to create your source code, using the highly capable text editor, along with the afferent functions: selection, copy, paste, indent, add comments, find or replace. The program features a syntax parser and a logger tool, also designed to help you create your source code.
IEP offers shell management tools, enabling you to interrupt, restart or terminate a particular shell with just one mouse click. Moreover, it supports debugging with 0 breakpoints or debugging using the former traceback. Each shell can be individually configured.

Additional functions for a quick process

IEP features a folder explorer, which allows you to quickly open the desired file, from any location on your system. You can add any folders to the Favorites collection, by clicking the star symbol. A Web browsing function is also available, along with a searching engine and file filters. You can also view classes, definitions, cells, attributes or notes in the source structure display.
