LanFriends

The Internet is filled with all sort of neat applications that you could use for doing various things. One of such nice software solutions is LanFriends.
It's packed with multiple tools for scanning your network and finding out which devices are connected to it.

Visually appealing graphical interface with lots of tools

The application doesn't come with a complicated setup that you would need to complete, before you could actually use its features. You simply need to run the .exe file, as it doesn't install on your device thus saving space.
It sports a really intuitive graphical interface, with all tools at hand and many options that you can adjust. It can be used by a wide range of users, not just the ones who are familiar with networking.

Scan your network easily

The first thing that you need to do after launching the application is to perform a scan on your network and find devices connected to it. The application doesn't take long to complete the scan and it displays the results neatly on the screen.
It shows you the number of connected devices and it displays the IP address of each device. It shows you the description of the device and some information on state change. It would have been nice if it showed you the signal strength.

More features and tools

Another section of the application displays a visual representation of devices connected to your network. It displays the router and any other computers that use the same Internet connection.
It also has a log with all processes, it displays the date, category and entry. You have the option to add devices, simply enter the IP address, type of device, description and information on the state change.
The settings menu allows you to enable the feature that plays sounds, choose the skin template, the ping timeout and time gap.
All in all, LanFriends is a very nice application that allows you to view which devices are connected to your network and add new ones.
