NetValue

The NetValue application was developed to be a program for converting TinyCAD netlists to PADS-PCB netlists. For parts, it sets the package name to the "Package" attribute of the TinyCAD symbol, if it exists.
Using the extra information available, it can set the FreePCB "Value" of a part to be a comma-separated string containing any or all of the attributes attached to a TinyCAD symbol including the Symbol name and Package.

USAGE:

- From TinyCAD schematic select Export Netlist using TinyCAD format.
- Open Netvalue program and use File/ Open.. to select the netlist file.
- If the file has been read correctly the raw contents of the netlist will be in the main memo field and a list of the available attributes in the box at the top left.
- Select the attribute you want to be included in the output netlist by double click or single click and -> button. (A similar action will deselect any mistakes.) Set the selected attributes into the desired order using the up/down button with an item selected.
- Once all the required items are listed in the correct order press the OK button. The resulting netlist will be shown in the bottom panel. (Repeat the select and OK stages to modify the result)
- Once the correct netlist is shown, use File / Save to select a filename (default is [original]_V.net but can be overridden) and save the file.
- The data in the memo field can be printed (File / Print) and its font size and style set for display and printing using the Font menu item.
