OmniCopy Description

Without a shadow of a doubt, clipboard tools are some of the best instruments for improving your productivity while using a computer.

Ingenious Dropbox-based shared clipboard tool

As you may have guessed just by reading its name, OmniCopy is a modern clipboard tool that takes things a bit further by allowing you to make use of a cloud-based and all round accessible shared clipboard.
It's designed to work with your Dropbox account to synchronize your cloud-based clipboard between all your devices which makes it perfect for users who need a working one two or more computers in parallel and require a quick way to copy-paste content from one to another, just as long as that content is in text form only.

Instantly share content between all your devices

Since we're on the subject, we would like to point out that the application also works on macOS and Linux and it also comes with iOS and Android companion apps, available on the AppStore and Google Play.
Subsequent to a surprise-free installation process, the will require a Dropbox API which means, of course, that you will be prompted to enter your official Dropbox credentials. Just like most other modern clipboard tools, OmniCopy too integrates with your computer's taskbar.

It could do with a few more features, but all facts considered, it gets the job done pretty well

Feature-wise, the application is not exactly stellar. For instance, it does not come with keyboard support, and there are no categories or other ways to organize your clipboard entries.
You can, however, enable the app to automatically launch at system start-up. It's also worth pointing out that it also comes with support for native notifications but, if you're constantly adding things to your computer's clipboard, you might find this feature a bit annoying, especially since there's no way of only turning off the sounds.

All in all, a very interesting clipboard tool

Technically speaking, there's really no point in comparing it to other local clipboard tools which, of course, will be more feature-packed. As a whole, even though it's somewhat of a one-trick pony, OmniCopy definitely comes in handy for users who require a quick and hassle-free way to share text between multiple devices.
