Another important fix is designed to take care of an issue that affected Outlook POP3 and SMTP clients. This bug was brought about by Office XP Service Pack 2. In fact, that version of Microsofts well-known Office suite is required in order to be able to setup this update package onto a computer. The installer performs the verification and in case the minimal requirements are not met, the procedure will stop immediately.
