Player

Player is a lightweight piece of software developed to serve as a multimedia player, allowing you to watch videos or listen to songs, with little to no effort on your part.

No installation required

Following the download process, you can just decompress the archive and run the executable as it is not necessary to install the application in order for it to work.
This in turn means that you can easily store it on a portable memory device and carry it with you wherever you go, with the possibility of using it on all compatible systems.

Clean and simple appearance

The main window of Player allows you to view movies, featuring a set of basic functions, such as ‘Pause’, ‘Stop’ or ‘Full Screen’, also letting you adjust the volume of the rendered file.
On the right side, a panel will display the items in your playlist, enabling you to remove them from the queue with a click or add new ones just by dropping them.This panel can be shown or hidden, depending on your preferences, by pressing on the proper button in Player’s toolbar.

Play videos or music

To open a file, you can just drag and drop the item over the main window of Player; at the same time, you have the option of browsing through your PC and loading the video you wish to view.
The program allows you to listen to MP3 files or watch AVI format files, displaying the images in a user-definable resolution. Player supports a rather limited number of formats, making it difficult to watch files that do not meet its requirements.
The utility is limited in terms of functionality as well as supported formats, and coupled with the fact that it encounters a large amount of responsiveness issues and sudden freezes, all make it rather a frustrating experience to work with Player.

To sum it up, Player is a rather basic tool which aims to help you watch videos or listen to music, featuring a small number of functions which in turn makes it fairly light on your system resources.
