Private Data Safe Description

Wide choice of access rights, which can be assigned to files and folders on computer hard drive. An ability to assign different access rights to a same file for different users.
Verification of access rights to files and folders is performed always, including attempts of access from system services or drivers (excluding Windows 'safe mode'). Program functionality also does not depend on a file system of the hard drive.
Password access to files and folders: the program will request for a password to access file resources at an attempt of an access from any software or user.
Crypto-storehouse of the program (Data Safe) provides highest possible protection of user's confidential information (logins, passwords, credit card numbers, etc.), and of the most important documents and files.
Files, placed into the crypto-storehouse, are inaccessible for other software, in Windows 'safe mode' and even on a transfer of the hard drive to another computer. Crypto-storehouse can be exported and imported on all computers, where Private Data Safe is installed, and it is possible to use this way to transfer or transmit protected data.
Crypto-archive allows a safe transferring or transmitting of any quantity of files, located inside of it. Presence of the installed program on a computer is not needed to decipher and extract files, located in an archive.
These operations can be performed with the help of a small utility, which does not require an installation, and which can be transmitted in combine with an archive. It is also possible to add a function of self-extract directly within the archive.
The program possesses a reliable self-defence: it protects both file resources of the program, which cannot be deleted or modified, and program process from attacks of the destructive software.
Authorization (password input) at program start guarantees protection from unauthorized usage of the program itself.
Monitoring system: audit of file operations allows to assign to some files or folders a necessity of listing (logging) of file operations. Information, which will be logged, can be duplicated by displaying in tray-balloons.
With the help of a special key-combination, it is possible to switch the program into the hidden working mode. In this mode, the program hides its presence from the user, but continues to control access rights, assigned to different files and folders.
