Encrypt files and bind their decryption to a specific USB stick

After having installed the utility on your system and launched it, you can connect your USB stick to the computer. You can provide a secret encryption key, which can only contain numbers, then indicate the targeted file formats. The utility supports a wide range of extensions, including TXT, PDF, DOC, XLS, even multimedia files, such as AVI, MP3, MKV and others.
Next, you need to download and install a tool from the link indicated in Scraplock’s documentation, FreeFileViewer.exe, press the ‘Application’ button, locate the executable of this program on your PC and load it, then press on ‘Protect App’.
You can then choose the folder whose contents you wish to secure, pressing the ‘Protect Files’ to convert them to encrypted format. The final step consists of running the ‘Install Trial’ option from the ‘Tools’ menu, which will render your files usable for 10 days.
The protected files can be found in the same directory, in the ‘Scraplock’ folder, but they can only be accessed with FreeFileViewer.exe when the USB stick is connected to the computer.
