Slider Description

It’s the time in which animations are quite popular, even if they’re made up of a few pictures. Slideshows can deliver a lot of information, or even put a smile on your face. Depending on your editor, you might need sequential images to create a cool effect. In this regard, Slider can create multiple images to depict movement based on a single input.

Easily load the target picture

One of the main advantages here is portability. This means that registry entries are not modified during runtime, so you don’t have to worry about the health status of the target computer. As such, you can easily have it stored on a thumb drive in case you’re constantly working on different computers.
The interface is quite minimalistic, containing only the bare necessities. Even so, it doesn’t take much time or effort to figure out how it’s used. The source picture can either be dropped over the window, or you can rely on the browse dialog.

Define direction, width, and movement steps

The core function here is to apply a movement effect based on the input picture. On the bright side of things, the application comes with support for quite an impressive variety of file formats, and chances are you easily find the one you need. Output is usually delivered in a new folder, but this can easily be changed.
There is some control over the operation. You can change the movement direction, which can be on either axis and direction. Output width also needs to be specified, which is best to be smaller than the original to properly create the effect. Steps are specified in pixels, and you can set the color of the background, in case empty space is created in the process.

To sum it up

Taking everything into consideration, we can state that Slider is a handy little tool, especially if you want to create a clean movement effect from a picture. File support is impressive, while defining the process parameters is a walk in the park.
