Super Sound Joiner

As the name of this software implies, Super Sound Joiner allows you to merge media files (to the WAV format). It supports several file extensions, including ASF, AVI, WMV, MOV, MP3 and MP4.
The interface of the application is plain and simple. Media files can be imported into the queue by using the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is unsupported. Batch processing is allowed.
In the list you can check out the name, source format and duration of each file. So, all you have to do is specify the output destination and filename, in order to proceed with the encoding job.
Furthermore, you can change audio settings when it comes to the sample frequency rate, channel mode and bits per second, as well as move items up and down in the list.
The audio processing program takes up a moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and manages to deliver a good sound quality after conversion. There's also a brief help file that you can look into.
On the other hand, Super Sound Joiner popped up several errors during our testing (it was unable to load some files) and crashed a couple of times. Plus, the interface is outdated and you cannot disable program sounds (when hovering the mouse cursor over buttons). We recommend you look for something more advanced than Super Sound Joiner.
