Weight Watchers Points Calculator Description
Weight Watchers Points Calculator is a lightweight piece of kit designed to complement the Weight Watchers weight loss program, where the goal is to create a calorie deficit by monitoring food intake. It doesn't contain complicated options or customization settings, so you don't need any experience with computer software.
Simple setup and UI
The installation procedure is fast and shouldn't give you any problems. As far as the interface is concerned, Weight Watchers Points Calculator adopts one window with a simple structure, which shows all options provided by this tool.
Enter information to calculate points
All you have to do is specify the number of calories, total fat grams and dietary fiber you want to consume (or already have), in order to calculate the points with the click of a button.
This number is instantly shown in the bottom part of the frame. Unfortunately, the utility doesn't implement buttons for saving this information to file or at least copying it to the Clipboard, which would've come in handy to compare various food plans.
In the following step, you can either adjust the numerical values to recalculate the points, or exit the tool. It's not equipped with any additional options.
Evaluation and conclusion
From the technical point of view, the application worked smoothly in our tests. It didn't hang, crash or show errors. As expected, it didn't hog system performance either, thanks to the fact that it needed a low quantity of CPU and memory to function.
On the other hand, it's obviously not sophisticated, as it merely provides a point calculator by inputting three numbers, a process that can be easily carried out with pen and paper. We are also keeping in mind that it was never updated, remaining with its first iteration. Nevertheless, you can test Weight Watchers Points Calculator for yourself.
