Use XSetup.exe to Install this program UNDERSTAND THIS PROGRAM - (Windows only, not tested on Linux) You create a program that you would like to sell or distribute to others Your program may have to be installed on different Windows platforms i.e. 98/2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7 etc You want Desktop and Program Shortcuts created for your program You may need Registry entries installed (for security, you dont want the user to know these registry entries) You may only want to allow your program to be installed with a security code of your choosing You write different programs and would like to use a standard install program for ease of use You need to Run specific files during the installation (with or without parameters) You want files installed in the order you choose You want to run your program after the install is complete You cannot be sure the user has a standard C:\ Drive or typical directory structure You may want to allow the user to choose an install directory for your program? (More professional) You need the user to agree your Terms & Conditions before installing your program You want a professional looking installation for your user You want the user to be able to uninstall your program and return any changed registry values Your install setup is stored in one file XSetup.txt which you distribute to your user. To upgrade simply change this file. Then this program can help you. What this program will not do is anything not listed above.
