Description

Games are a good way of testing your intelligence and improving your problem-solving skills. Einstein Puzzle is a logic game that provides a number of tiles with various symbols that need to be flipped and matched to finish the game.

A simple to install game

The installation process is straightforward. You must specify a location and the program will do the rest. There are no hardware or software requirements worth mentioning and the application is not a heavy resource user.
The interface is dull and not very appealing. You can start a new game, load your previously saved sessions and there is a hall of fame section to display the players who have finished the puzzle. There are few options to be tweaked.

Basic gameplay with complex rules

The goal of the game is to open all cards from a 6×6 square. Each row contains cards from a single type: the first provides Arabic digits, second-capital letters, third-Roman digits, fourth-dice, fifth-geometrical figures and the sixth mathematical symbols. You are provided with tips that describe the locations of other tiles based on the ones already flipped.
The difficulty curve is steep. There is a help file at your disposal that explains the various symbols and tips, but you lose at the first mistake. The key to solving the puzzle is to make logic based moves and not visual judgments.

Not a game for beginners

In conclusion, Einstein Puzzle is a difficult game to master. Beginners will quickly be discouraged by the multiple failures, and the sounds that are triggered by bad moves will step on your nerves. The help file is not that well written and you won't understand the rules from the start.
