24x7 Event Server can monitor and automate event response processing for all kinds of system and application events. Here is a brief list of supported event types: database data or performance change, database startup/shutdown, dial-up connection start/stop,disk free space threshold, file change (size or time), file deletion, file size threshold, folder changes (generic event), new e-mail message, new fax message received/sent, new file, new NT event log record, registry changes, screen saver activation/deactivation, remote server down, remote TCP service down (FTP, Telnet, HTTP), system performance threshold (CPU, disk I/O), system shutdown, user logon/logout, Web server slow response, Window appearance/disappearance.
Version 2.0.1.17 added 2 new event classes: events for monitoring Unix SysLogs and events for using and monitoring WMI events; improved management console interface.
