360 Panorama Analyzer/Stabilizer Description
If you are not the kind of photographer who is satisfied with shooting from one angle at a time, then it is likely that you have several stunning 360 panoramic videos in your collection. While they leave a deep impression on the audience, sometimes, they need a lot of time and effort for post-processing and particularly, stabilizing the video.
As the name suggests, 360 Panorama Analyzer/Stabilizer is a lightweight piece of software designed to help you correct panorama videos and remove any potential distortion effects.
It does take some time to process the video
Following a quick and uneventful setup, you are welcome by a clean and intuitive interface that is unlikely to give you any troubles. It is necessary to mention that you need to run the application as Administrator, as otherwise there are high chances that you stumble across errors.
While in the upper section of the single-window interface you can load the video, you can specify the output directory and the new filename in the lower section. You should keep in mind that the app is designed to solely work with videos and does not allow you to adjust images as well. Moreover, it does not support drag and drop.
Once you add the file, you should be patient as the app takes several minutes to analyze it, depending on the quality, FPS and size of the clip.
You can specify the desired analysis area
Functionality-wise, the application is as simple to use as it looks and hence if you are not satisfied with the first results, you can access the 2nd-pass analysis and have a more stabilized output. While the processing takes some time, you can reduce the interval by opting for a smaller analysis size.
The results are displayed in real time in the dedicated window so you can browse frame by frame and identify the ones that required adjustments. It would have been useful if the aforementioned results would be displayed using color codes, so you can identify the ones you need faster.
A handy tool for adjusting 360 panorama videos
In the eventuality that you are regularly shooting panorama clips and they need you to spend a lot of time for stabilizing during post-processing, then perhaps 360 Panorama Analyzer/Stabilizer could come in handy.
