Batch processing is possible, meaning that you can save audio tracks from multiple videos at the same time. Conversion automatically starts as soon as the items are imported.
Before doing so, you can access the "Preferences" area to select the audio format (MP3, OGG or M4A) and quality, as well as to alter the default saving location. In addition, you can ask 4K Video to MP3 to automatically add the output files to the iTunes library.
The application does not take a long time to complete a conversion job, during which it uses a reasonable amount of system resources. We have not come across any major issues throughout our evaluation, since the app did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. It delivers quality sound files. There is also a portable edition available, if you want to skip the installation procedure.
However, the estimated time displayed is not accurate at all, misleading users. Nevertheless, 4K Video to MP3 gets the job done quickly when it comes to creating audio files from videos, in order to prepare them for various media devices.
