4Movy DVD Ripper + DVD Copy Machine Suite

As its name explains, 4Movy DVD Ripper + DVD Copy Machine Suite is a software suite that consists of two separate programs designed for DVD video processing - 4Movy DVD Ripper and DVD Copy Machine.
The tools are wrapped in a plain and simple interface where you can load DVD movies by using either the file browser, tree view or "drag and drop" method. It is possible to process more than one DVD video in a single session.
The file queue offers some information about each item, such as name, duration, type, target format and status. If you prefer the default settings, then you can immediately proceed with the conversion procedure after specifying the output destination, filename and file type (e.g. MPG, OGG, MP4, FLV).
Experienced users can fiddle with the audio and video settings when it comes to the codec, size, bit rate, frame rate, zoom mode, bit tolerance, channel mode and sample rate. You can create new output profiles but you cannot restore settings to default.
In addition, you can select the angle, audio language and subtitle track, as well as preview clips in a small, built-in media player and trim them by size or time.
In the "Options" area you can configure additional options when it comes to the buffer size and location, luminance filter, subtitle offset and colors, error log and priority. Settings can be reset to default.
The program supports several skins and languages for the interface, has a good response time and completes a task in reasonable time. No error dialogs have been displayed throughout our testing and the app did not freeze or crash.
Nevertheless, the output videos have a poor image and sound quality. You cannot specify the thread priority or set the program to automatically turn off the computer or to open the output directory after encoding. The 4Movy DVD Ripper + DVD Copy Machine Suite has not been updated for a long time.
