7tools Partition Manager Description
7tools Partition Manager is a Windows hard disk utility that helps users manage partitions.
It boasts a clean and straightforward layout that gives you the possibility to perform most operations with just a few clicks.
Plus, it offers step-by-step assistance throughout the entire process, so even rookies can create, delete, merge, or format partitions, copy hard disks or partitions, redistribute free space among partitions, as well as find and recover partitions.
7tools Partition Manager doesn’t execute operations immediately and it sends them to a pending list from where you can select if you want to proceed with formatting or deleting the selected partitions.
The application allows users to increase the free space on one partition by adding the unused space of other partitions, merge NTFS, FAT16 or FAT32 partitions, and manage several operating systems on one computer while offering support for auto-boot option when it comes to running the specified OS at a certain time.
Other important options worth mentioning are represented by the possibility to resize partitions, clone hard disks, perform defragmentation operations on FAT and NTFS file systems to improve the hard disk performance, and convert file systems (e.g. NTFS to FAT16, FAT32).
Last but not least, you can make the computer shutdown at the end of a successful task, explore the contents of the local volumes, backup data on external media (CDs, DVDs, or floppy disks), as well as collect detailed information about the hard disks, such as model and serial number, type (basic or dynamic), total size, and details about the geometry of the disk (e.g. amount of sectors per track, heads and cylinders).
All in all, 7tools Partition Manager offers an intuitive layout for helping rookies and professionals perform various hard disk tweaking operations.
