A3D Viewer is a straightforward application that gives you the possibility to preview images before stitching them to 3D. It enables you to change their order in the photo series as well as to modify the quality.
The tool doesn't include complex options or configuration parameters, so it can be handled with ease by anyone, even those less experienced with such software.

Simple interface for viewing 3D pictures

It's wrapped in a user-friendly interface made from a large window with a clear-cut structure, where you can use the built-in file explorer to navigate disk directories and locate the images you want to view.
The utility shows all supported picture files in the currently selected folder. You can make any picture the first one in the series and re-arrange all of them, as well as preview them.
As far as A3D Viewer settings are concerned, you can alter the default source folder, preview quality and play speed for the viewer, along with the default directory, prefix, number of digits, starting character, and suffix for the default saving folder. There aren't additional noteworthy options available here.

Evaluation and observations

It didn't put a strain on the computer's performance in our tests, running on a low amount of CPU and RAM. No error dialogs were displayed and it didn't freeze or crash.
On the other hand, A3D Viewer hasn't been updated for a long time, and this aspect can be clearly observed by taking one look at its interface. On top of that, it doesn't leave much room for configuration when it comes to 3D pictures.

Conclusion

Nevertheless, although it's very old, it still works on newer Windows editions, providing users with a simple and effective way of viewing images before making them 3D.
