A9CAD

A9CAD is a compact CAD utility designed to help users to create 2D objects, and apply editing operations for DWG and DXF files.
The user interface may seem a bit overwhelming at a first glance, but this is only because the program comes packed with many dedicated parameters.
A9CAD gives you the possibility to draw basic shapes, such as points, lines, rectangles, arcs, ellipses, and polylines.
What’s more, you are allowed to modify an object attributes in terms of text color, line types, pen width, rotation angle, text style, and others.
Other notable characteristics worth mentioning are represented by the possibility to delete the selected objects, copy, move, scale, or rotate them to different angles, slice an object into several smaller parts, as well as trim or connect two objects.
Last but not least, you can print or export the generated designs to EMF file format, create and manage blocks, work with multiple layers, perform basic editing operations (cut, copy, paste), undo or redo your actions, zoom in or out, as well as upload images.
During our testing we have noticed that the tool provides very good image quality, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. It doesn’t put a lot of stress on CPU and memory, so the overall performance of the computer is not burdened.
To sum things up, A9CAD comes packed with many dedicated parameters for helping users create 2D designs but the layout is not very intuitive, so rookies may spend some time trying to set up the entire process.
