Installing this tool is a fast and simple job that shouldn't give you any trouble. Once it's over, you are greeted by a user-friendly interface, represented by a small window with a neatly organized structure.

Easily hide and unhide folders

You can use a tree view to locate and add as many directories as you want to the list, and hide all of them with one click. Changes are immediately applied and the action can be just as easily undone.
Apart from the fact that you can remove any folder from the list as well as open its location in Windows Explorer without leaving Absolute Folder Hider's interface, there are no other notable options available here.

Evaluation and conclusion

It didn't put a strain on the overall performance of the machine in our tests, as it needed low CPU and RAM to work properly. No error dialogs popped up, and the app didn't hang or crash.
Unfortunately, Absolute Folder Hider features only basic options for rookies and doesn't have advanced configuration settings for experienced users. It's straightforward and free to use, though.
