Accordion Description

Accordion is especially designed for music aficionados who want to transform their computer into a playing instrument, in this case being a three row button accordion. With the help of this emulator, musicians can practice, improve their skills or compose songs, while regular users can have a great time while pretending their keyboard is an accordion.
Despite its name, the range of output sounds is not limited to the accordion. To be more specific, you can choose from a wide array of MIDI instruments to emulate, from percussion ones (pianos, xylophones, organs) to wind instruments (trumpets, sachs, horns, flutes, trombone, tuba), guitars, electric basses, violins and violas, harps, strings, orchestra hits, oboes, as well as other specific sounds (blown bottle, whistle, voice, rain) and so on.
The application assigns sounds to every key and allows you to play a song or random notes with the help of the PC keyboard, while the SPACE, CTRL and ALT keys play the role of the bellows. The keyboard must be held facing away from you, with the ESC key at the top, just like you would hold an accordion. Nevertheless, you can change the key layout and flip the keyboard as well.
Users who know a bit more about playing the accordion should have no problem learning the position of the sounds on the keyboard, but inexperienced players might need to take their time to practice before being able to output a melodious note sequence.
Accordion enables you to play uni-sonic bass notes for the following notes: F/Bb/Eb, G/C/F, A/D/G, C#/D/G, B/C/C#, C System, B System, but it cannot record your songs, nor open audio files.
To sum up, Accordion is a handy tool for those who want to learn how to play the accordion or simply have fun transforming the keyboard into a musical instrument. The only catch is that some keyboards might not detect more than two or three buttons pressed at once.
