Advanced Browser

Advanced Browser is a web browser built on the Internet Explorer engine that intends to deliver a fast navigation experience to users, while focusing on stability. It can be seamlessly handled by individuals who are already accustomed to Internet Explorer.
The app's interface is represented by a regular window, similar to the one of IE. Two viewing modes allow you to switch to full screen or full desktop mode.
An interesting feature of Advanced Browser is that it integrates extra buttons into the menu bar that let you manipulate windows in the way you see fit. For instance, you can tile all windows vertically or horizontally, so you can view or compare information on multiple websites at the same time.
In addition, you can create a new message, send a link or just read your email via the default email client, clear records to prevent other users from viewing your Internet activity (e.g. typed addresses, recent pages, autocomplete passwords, search keywords), as well as set proxy parameters and modify the default interface skin and language.
The web browser offers support for a popup blocker, ActiveX, scripts and Java applets. Plus, you can disable sounds, animations, pictures and videos if they slow down the page loading process, view a webpage's source code in a plain text document, create and manage a website favorite list, as well as customize the GUI buttons, among others.
Advanced Browser needs a moderate amount of CPU and system memory, is very responsive to key strokes and mouse commands, and supports keyboard shortcuts. It was pretty stable during our evaluation. However, we have not noticed any difference between this tool and other web browsers (e.g. Firefox, Chrome) regarding speed. We must also keep in mind the fact that Advanced Browser has not been updated for a very long time, so it probably does not meet the standards of power users.
