Thus, you may simply create a schedule, by selecting the number of hours, minutes and seconds that you wish to pass before Advanced Task Killer closes the selected programs.
You may easily choose applications or other tasks that are triggered when opening an executable file. Advanced Task Killer requires that you select the .EXE file that corresponds to the desired program, from its location. The software allows you to add or remove program from the shutdown list, before you set the scheduler off.

Set alarms and reminders

Advanced Task Killer also allows you to set individual alarms, in order to remind yourself of upcoming tasks. You simply need to set the scheduler, for the number of hours, minutes and seconds, then type in a reminder message. The text is displayed on the screen when the alarm goes off.
The reminder function only works for tasks that are due in a short time, for instance in a few hours. The timer is limited to 24 hours, 60 minutes and 60 seconds. The alarm function must be reset every time it goes off, since it cannot be set as a recurring reminder. The software can run in the background, but while on the desktop it also works as a count down.
