Adware T.V. Media Removal Tool

Adware T.V. Media Removal Tool has been conceived as a very simple solution against the T.V. Media type of adware, which can create problems when trying to install Service Pack 2 on systems running Windows XP.
The adware bundle, from Total Velocity Corporation, is generally integrated with some ad-supported applications that install it. Removing the package can prove to be quite a task because it features protection against this sort of action, and these functions can result in registry corruption when trying to install the Windows XP SP2.
As such, Microsoft released the Adware T.V. Media Removal Tool, which scans the system for the presence of the adware files and disarms their protection in order to allow the user to install Service Pack 2 on Windows XP.
The application works out of the box and does not require installation. You are greeted by a license agreement that explains how the tool functions. The next step is the actual scan, which should not take too long to complete.
At the end of the process the removal tool comes up with a result, informing whether adware traces were detected or not.
Keep in mind that if the adware traces are eliminated the programs that installed them on the system may no longer function properly.
