AeroPeek

AeroPeek is a simple-to-use piece of software that enables you to add the desktop showing feature specific to Windows 7 to XP and Vista editions.
It does not come packed with any kind of options or configuration settings, so the tool can be handled with confidence by anyone, even by users with limited or no previous experience in software tools.
The installation procedure takes little time to finish and does not require special attention, since it contains standard options. What should be noted is that .NET Framework must be installed prior to AeroPeek.
At startup, the tool creates an icon in the system tray area and immediately activates the Aero Peek feature. In order to disable it, all you have to do is exit the utility by opening the context menu and selecting the option. There are no other notable options available here, apart from the fact that you can view developer details.
AeroPeek has a good response time and runs on a very low quantity of CPU and RAM, so it does not affect the overall performance of the PC. It does not cause the operating system to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.
All in all, AeroPeek offers the simplest solution possible to applying the desktop showing feature in Windows XP and Vista. Unfortunately, the app has not been updated for a pretty long time. Other than that, it can be used by anyone, thanks to its overall simplicity.
