Create different backup tasks and password-protect backup files

You can create multiple backup tasks in Akick Data Backup and run them whenever needed. A built-in backup wizard provides assistance every step of the way, from selecting the items to backup to choosing the target location and running the task. The application can save the copy of the original files to the local hard disk, a network folder, or a FTP server.
Backup files can include as many files and folders as you wish. For security purposes, you can assign a password to each backup file, thus preventing unauthorized access to its contents.

Schedule computer power off tasks for larger backups

Before running a task, Akick Data Backup prompts you to take one last look at the backup settings. It displays the source and the destination location.
Additionally, it enables you to change the process priority, and schedule the computer to shutdown, log off, hibernate, suspend activity, or reboot once the backup is completed. If errors or warnings occur during backup, Akick Data Backup will show you a report at the next logon.
Unlike other applications, Akick Data Backup does not create the backup in a ZIP archive or something similar, but a special file that uses the .akick extension. This is a special image that can only be used by Akick Data Backup when restoring data.

No incremental backups or automatic synchronization

Unlike the competition, Akick Data Backup only allows full backups. There is no option to perform incremental backups or automatic synchronization to save time and storage space, which is an important drawback. Furthermore, it does not allow you to run multiple backup tasks concurrently, even though you can create more than one. These things aside, the application performs as promised, creating password-protected backups at a satisfactory speed.
