Lightweight and easy to use

On the bright side of things, the application saves you the time required to go through a setup process, and lets you check out its features from the moment it reaches your computer. Not only this, but it can also be carried around on a thumb drive, while runtime doesn’t affect stability of the target PC, because registry entries are not modified.
A pretty compact window is used to house all features, and even though the design doesn’t make it stand out from the crowd, you instantly get the hang of things. A drop-down menu is at your disposal to set the mode of operation, which can either be countdown mode, or to ring at a specified time.

Sits in the tray area until the specified time

Needless to say that there’s also a value field which needs to be filled in either with the prerequisites for a countdown timer, or the exact hour in a 24 hour format, with fields for minutes, as well as seconds. When configured, the application can be minimized to the tray area so it doesn’t take up any precious desktop space.
When the time comes, a prompt shows up on the screen, and remains there until you confirm the message. Sadly, the application is pretty poor in terms of customization options, because it doesn’t allow you to set a specific message, or set an audio file to be used as alert.
