We haven't come across any unpleasant surprises as far as stability is concerned, since it didn't hang, crash or display error messages.
Although Alban's Script Editor doesn't have richer options and configuration settings, it offers a straightforward solution for quickly and effortlessly editing JavaScript files without having to install complex software products to accomplish this task. We are also taking into account that it hasn't received updates for a long time. The utility can be seamlessly handled by anyone.
