Aligner Description

Aligner is a small software application whose purpose is to help you move your wallpaper wherever you want on your desktop.

Clean looks

You are welcomed by a simple layout that incorporates all configuration settings into a single window. You cannot appeal to a help manual so you need to experiment a little bit with the built-in features in order to understand how it works.

Wallpaper tweaks

Aligner gives you the possibility to preview the wallpaper image directly in the main window. Plus, any adjustments applied to the wallpaper are automatically reflected in the preview panel.
With Aligner you are no longer limited to center or tile the wallpaper photo, as you may align it to the preferred position.
You are allowed to move the wallpaper to the top, bottom, left, center, or right part of the screen. In addition, you may manually tweak the position of the photo by tuning the built-in sliders. The changes can be applied with a single click.
Tests have shown that the utility carries out a task quickly. It is not a resource hog so you do not have to worry that it eats up CPU and memory resources. In order to be able to move your wallpaper to the desired position, you need to disable Active Desktop.

Bottom line

All things considered, Aligner comes packed with several useful configuration settings for helping you apply adjustments to your wallpaper. On the downside, it has not been updated for a while, so you can make use of its capabilities especially on older operating systems, such as Windows 2K, XP, Vista, and 7.
