AlomWare Lights is a lightweight, yet reliable program that can indicate whether your Num Lock, Scroll Lock and Caps Lock keys are turned on or off. Additionally, the tool can prevent Caps Lock from being turned on as well as the Num Lock from being turned off.

Alternative to LED indicators

This is a suitable program especially for cases when your keyboard does not feature LEDs indicators. Generally, each keyboard requires an indicator for Caps Lock, Num Lock and Scroll Lock. However, if the keyboard lights don't work properly, you can turn to this application and just take a look at the taskbar notifications area.
In the tray icon created by the LED indicator are embedded three tiny buttons coupled with the key type: the first is N (NumLock), the second is C (CapsLock) and the third is S (ScrollLock).

Simple-to-use key notifier that does not distract you

In cases when you need to type a long text on your keyboard, monitoring the buttons in the system tray can be much easier than checking whether or not CapsLock, NumLock and ScrollLock are enabled or disabled on your keyboard. AlomWare Lights doesn't any notification message to let you know whether CapsLock, NumLock or ScrollLock are enabled or disabled. Perhaps it would've been more convenient if the developer implemented a feature that gave you the possibility to keep this feature disabled or enable it whenever you need the program to draw your attention from whatever tasks you're conducting.
