Anti-Malware Toolkit Description
Anti-Malware Toolkit represents a platform that facilitates direct access to downloading third-party apps specialized in malware removal, in order to ensure maximum system performance.
The interface of the tool is made from a regular window with multiple tabs and well-organized options. From a drop-down menu you can choose the package profile, depending on your OS platform, as Anti-Malware Toolkit supports Windows 2000 through 7, Server 2003 and 2008.
Alternatively, you can set up a custom profile by selecting applications (e.g. CCleaner, SpywareBlaster), definitions (e.g. Avira AntiVir, avast), utilities (e.g. Autoruns, Process Explorer), antivirus tools (e.g. AVG Remover, Windows OneCare Removal) and recommended apps (e.g. Firefox, Opera).
All you have to do is point out the download path and initialize the downloading operation, to let Anti-Malware Toolkit take care of the rest. Please note that the program does not unpack the downloaded setup kits, so you have to handle the installers normally.
As far as general settings go, you can save the download path as default, set items to download into category folders, make the app automatically open the target directory when all tasks are done, as well as to check for updates online.
Last but not least, shortcuts to a few Windows built-in tools are accessible via the Tools menu, namely to Task Manager, Add or Remove Programs, Event Viewer, Device Manager, Services, Command Prompt, Registry Editor and Windows Updates.
Anti-Malware Toolkit has a minimum impact on the system resources and completes downloading tasks rapidly and error-free. We have not come across any difficulties throughout our evaluation. However, the tool has not been updated for a while: it does not provide support for Windows 8, and some third-party apps have outdated versions. Aside from this fact, Anti-Malware Toolkit makes up for a nice addition to any user's utility belt concerning anti-malware products.
