ANTLOG Table Editor Description
ANTLOG Table Editor is a simple-to-use software application that gives you the possibility to open and edit XML files, in addition to databases which contain tables.
Hassle-free installation and user-friendly GUI
The setup procedure is speedy, and the only notable aspect about it is that you must have .NET Framework installed. As far as the interface is concerned, the program adopts a standard .NET Framework form, a normal window with a neatly organized structure, where you should quickly figure out all options available.
After opening an XML or DB file, you can examine contents and find out the ID number, name, date of creation and last modification, size, along with the attributes of each file. Items can be filtered by any of these criteria.
View and edit XML and database files
Modifying contents is as easy as working with a text editor, where you can type or paste text. Once you're satisfied with the new changes, you can overwrite the original file or save the document to a new one, after specifying the output directory and filename.
When it comes to remaining options, ANTLOG Table Editor can be asked to read the current directory or a custom location for all supported XML and DB files, in order to automatically load contents in the main app window. Furthermore, it's possible to import images from local files to embed in the text documents, as well as to take 16x16-sized icons from the screen.
Evaluation and conclusion
It worked smoothly in our tests, without triggering the operating system to hang, crash or prompt errors. We haven't come across any stability issues, and CPU and RAM usage was minimal.
Although it doesn't come equipped with richer options and configuration settings, ANTLOG Table Editor offers a straightforward solution for editing XML and database files without previous experience.
