Any Total Video Converter

Any Total Video Converter is an application designed to help you change the format of audio tracks and video clips (e.g. 3GP, AVI, ASF, MOV, MPG, OGG, WAV) into multiple file types, including ASF, AVI, MOV, MP4, RM, VOB, MP3, WAV and WMA.
The interface of the program is clean and intuitive. Media files can be imported into the file queue via the file browser ("drag and drop" is unsupported). Processing items in batch mode is allowed.
The file list provides specific information on each entry, including name, duration, source and output extension, along with status. By choosing default settings, you can immediately start the conversion procedure after specifying the output directory, file type and file name.
Advanced users can fiddle with the audio and video options when it comes to the size, bit rate, codec, frame rate, aspect ratio, quality, sample rate and channels. Optionally, you can disable the audio stream. It is possible to create a new profile but you cannot restore parameters to default.
Any Total Video Converter can also prepare videos for mobile phones, PSP, PS3, Windows Mobile, iPhone and Xbox, among other devices. Plus, you can preview clips in a small, built-in media player and capture frames, trim videos by time, as well as capture frames (as BMP).
The video encoding software requires a moderate amount of system resources to finish a task in reasonable time. It has a good response time and outputs a good image and sound quality. No error dialogs have been displayed during our tests and Any Total Video Converter did not freeze or crash.
On the other hand, there is no help file available and there is no "Settings" area where you can set the tool to turn off the computer after conversion, customize the CPU core number in use or to change the snapshot format and directory. There have not been recent updates.
