Apache3 Description
Apache3 is a disk processing tool that supports popular formats like ISO, Standard ISO9660, MDF, IMG, BIN, PS2, PC Disk Image, and XBOX ISO. It can be used for creating new images, converting them from one format to another, as well as for resources extraction.
The interface is made from a single window with dual panels for reading the image file structure and contents, respectively. You can open disk images from files or mounted drives, and extract selected resources by specifying the output directory.
In addition, you can assign a file as the master file and relink selected items to it, replace files in the image, as well as view details (e.g. size in hex and bytes, position in image).
Apache3 gives you the possibility to create a new ISO image for GameCube MiniDVD, GameCube DVD, XBOX DVD or PS2 DVD, build an ISO from an IML file, as well as convert BIN images to ISO format.
Furthermore, you can export a list of files to IML type, burn images to disc, scan selected files and save results, as well as make file associations, among other preferences.
Apache3 has minimal impact on system performance, using low CPU and RAM to finish a task rapidly and without errors. We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation, as the utility did not hang or crash. Although it has not been updated for a while, Apache3 is stable on newer operating systems.
