The installation requires minimal effort from your side, however, make sure you don't go too fast through the setup, as you might end up with unwanted apps installed, and with your web browser homepage changed.
Aquarium Fishes Free Screensaver needs DirectX to be present on the drive to properly run and have a smooth and fast performance. Once the setup is complete, you can take the tool for a test directly from the Windows default Screensaver panel. Plus, if you can keep the predefined settings if you are happy with how it looks.
Limited set of customization options
As the title indicates, the app comes packed with a few pictures representing stunning ocean fish. Sadly, you don't have the choice to add new ones to the existing album, nor a shuffle button.
If you want to tweak the screensaver, clicking on the "Settings" button, brings up the configuration panel. From there, you can access the several settings to get the best performance.

It's possible to use the default Windows resolution or pick the corresponding one from the drop-down menu, like 640x480, 1280x720, or 1360x768. The vertical sync and processor load can be disabled.
It comes with several sliders that can be adjusted to determine the transition time between each image, and adjust the brightness level when running. You have the option to enable the frames per second counter, along with the digital clock, and the time format (12,24 hours).
All in all
To sum it up, Aquarium Fishes Free Screensaver provides a small image selection representing three high-quality pictures of rare fish in their natural habitat, which bring a relaxing atmosphere directly on your desktop.
