ASC Description
ASC is a small software application designed specifically for helping you create a custom setup for the Avira antivirus version 9 or 10.
The comfort of working with portable tools
The portable running mode ensures no entries are left in your Windows registry so you can get rid of the utility by simply deleting the files that you have grabbed from the Internet. In addition, you may drop the tool on portable media devices and have it with you all the time.
You may run it without administrative privileges on the target computer. Getting access to the program’s GUI requires only opening the executable file.
Simple looks
ASC reveals a user-friendly layout that integrates only a few configuration settings. All dedicated parameters are embedded in a single panel so they are placed at your fingertips. There’s no support for a help manual but the entire process is quite automatic so you won’t spend too much time tweaking the settings.
Create custom builds for Avira
ASC offers you the possibility to create a custom setup for the Avira antivirus by selecting the build language.
Aside from picking the preferred language, the application is able to automatically process the steps required for generating the build, namely downloading Avira setup, grabbing the latest virus definition file, packing all files (7Z), as well as creating the package.
The application integrates only a few configuration settings that help you create a Start Menu folder, generate a desktop icon, as well as build a light setup (some files are deleted in order to deliver a small package). At the end of the process, you can check the antivirus files on the Avira server by sending pings to the server.
Bottom line
All things considered, ASC delivers a simplistic software solution for helping you create a custom setup for the Antivirus version 9 or 10 without having to invest too much time and effort in the entire process.
