ASUS EPU is a versatile application that leverages the power of the EPU technology developed by Asus itself. EPU stands for Energy Processing Unit and refers to a standard for saving energy on computers.
ASUS EPU has developed this power saving technology starting 2005, but it wasn’t until later on that the company came up with both the hardware and the software that can sustain it. It all comes down to a chip that can process feedback from the CPU in real-time and adjust the power in just the right amount, resulting in less power waste.
