ATi Multimedia Center

Owners of ATI Radeon and All-in-Wonder products can try a suite of applications packaged under the name of ATi Multimedia Center. There are several playback utilities, TV, radio and other special tools that are tailored for a variety of tasks.
Accessing all the features and components of the Multimedia Center can be done in a quite simple manner if you use the built-in LaunchPad. This launcher can also be resized or docked whenever needed from the right-click menu.
With ATi Multimedia Center you can watch your preferred television programs and enjoy a variety of powerful functions like PVR (Personal Video Recorder), TV-ON-DEMAND, TV Listings, Still Capture, Scheduled Events, Parental Controls and many more.

In case you store your movies and music in digital format onto your system, the 'File Player' will surely help. This tool can handle HD videos recorded using the DTV module as well as AVI, MPEG, ASF and ATI VCR (files recorder using the PVR tool) formats. For the audio part, it can read MP3, WAV, WMA and even MIDI.
The built-in FM tuner allows you to search and store your preferred radio stations, record audio in MP3 format, schedule sound capture as well as use the time-shifted audio function you will find as FM-ON-DEMAND.
Managing all the recorded files or videos and music tracks you store locally can be done through the 'Library' module of ATi Multimedia Center. As a bonus, there is a teletext application included i the package, so if you come across a TV channel that streams this type of data as well, you can browse it more easily than with a classic TV set.
