AttributeZ is a desktop software tool designed to help you set or change a wide range of attributes for your files and folders.

Is good to go from the moment download is finished

You can simply copy the package file in any part of the hard drives and directly launch the EXE file, since it does not need to be installed. Since it is portable, it can also be saved to a memory stick or other supported removable storage devices, in order to run it on any computer.

Not too complicated to use

The application is wrapped in a simple, clean and straightforward interface. The intuitive settings make sure that it can be easily configured by any type of users.
Simply add the file or folder that you wish to modify, select what attributes you want to change, and then proceed with the task. The items can be added in the main window using either the built-in browse button or the drag and drop support.

Wide range of attributes available

AttributeZ gives you the possibility to change a large number of attributes, such as archive, index, read only, hidden, system, temporary, and offline. Furthermore, it supports multiple file formats, such as ODT, TXT, AVI, FLV, EXE, OFF, MP3, and M4A.
It can be integrated into the context menu for both files and folders, stay on top of other programs, and run with multiple instances.
Unfortunately, it doesn't support batch processing, meaning that you can modify the attributes for just a single file or folder at a time.

Evaluation and conclusion

It worked smoothly and no errors occurred during our evaluation. Thanks to the low usage of CPU and memory, the overall performance of the computer was not affected.
Taking all things into consideration, AttributeZ proves to be a reliable and useful software app that lets you easily modify a wide range of attributes for your files and folders.
