Auto Run Utility Description
Auto Run Utility is a small software application developed specifically for helping you gain access to your Windows startup folder using a set of straightforward actions. It can be deployed on all Windows versions out there.
Plain looks
After a fast and simple installation process where you only need to press on a few ‘Next’ buttons in order to complete the task, you are welcomed by a minimalist design. The GUI contains only a few configuration settings and embeds them in a single panel.
A help manual cannot be accessed. However, you can set up the dedicated parameters on your own because they look very easy to work with.
How it works
Auto Run Utility simplifies the entire process to a single click. Once you activate the ‘Startup Folder for Signed On User’ option, the tool automatically opens up the folder where Windows startup entries are stored.
What’s more, the program offers you the possibility to add new utilities that can be launched at Windows startup by dragging and dropping their icons directly in the main window. In addition, you are allowed to open Windows System Configuration options directly from the primary panel.
Tests have pointed out that Auto Run Utility carries out a task quickly and without errors. It does not eat up a lot of CPU and memory resources so the overall performance of the computer is not affected.
Final remarks
To sum things up, Auto Run Utility comes bundled with basic features for helping you add tools to system startup, and is suitable especially for less experienced users. On the downside, it does not support its own settings for helping you block items from infiltrating into your startup menu and get a list with all processes that are activated at Windows startup, just to name a few suggestions.
