AutoBrowse Description
Websites are more than just fancy environments in which you get to enjoy your favorite types of content. These are made up of tons of lines of code, and can be held in a HTML file. This means a web page can simply represent a catalog of products, and with applications like AutoBrowse, you can scroll through them with minimum effort.
Not your average web browser
Before you check out what the application can do for you, it’s best to make sure that .NET Framework is installed on your computer, because it’s a mandatory requirement. On the other hand, the application comes with the advantage of being portable, which means you can carry it around on a USB flash drive to use on other PCs.
Contrary to your expectations, the application isn’t designed to be your everyday web browser. In fact, it’s specially designed to be used on terminals or other displays, serving more of an informative purpose, rather than enhancing navigation. To better help with the situation, there’s a built-in function to have content shown on the entire screen.
Create a list of websites and time options
What the application does is actually provide a limited time for a web page to be displayed. When all seconds run out, the page switches to a different one on the list. You’re free to add your own websites, which can simply be slideshows or pages that require little to no user interaction.
Truth be told, loading speed is impressive, and considering the lower limit of the page transition is 10 seconds, this is a major advantage. You can configure pages to kick in after 10 seconds, and up to 300 seconds, which is exactly the equivalent of five minutes.
To sum it up
Taking everything into consideration, we can say that AutoBrowse presents a neat concept, letting you set up a web-based slideshow on monitors or terminals, with content automatically switching at custom time intervals. Each page can be individually configured, while speed makes sure there’s enough time to load the whole content.
