Avi to Mpeg is a simple-to-use application which enables you to convert media files to the MPEG format. It can be handled by individuals of any experience level.
The interface of the tool is plain and easy to work with. Media files can be imported into the queue by using either the file browser or "drag and drop" method. Batch conversion is possible.
In the list you can view the name, source format, time, size, current time, frames per second, progress and status of each media file. After you set the destination folder and output profile, you can proceed with the encoding job.
But you can also configure audio and video settings when it comes to the size, frame rate, codec, aspect ratio, volume, sample frequency rate, channel mode, aspect ratio and others.
Additionally, you can specify the log level and thread priority, as well as enable Avi to Mpeg to overwrite existing files, keep the aspect ratio by default and to open the output directory once all tasks have been completed.
The video processing tool takes up a moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a good image and sound quality in the output videos. We haven't encountered any technical difficulties during our tests and strongly recommend Avi to Mpeg to all users.
