AWGG is a reliable application designated to managing the ongoing downloads. The program can quickly acquire the download URL from clipboard and start the transfer. It can optimize the speed and download mode, in order for you to be able to keep navigating the Internet without drawbacks.
Simple to use download manager
AWGG can accelerate the transfer when downloading content from the Internet, allowing you to obtain the files quicker. Moreover, it can take the task over from the browser, thus facilitating the Internet navigation even while the download is active.
You may easily set the output location, the download engine algorithm, rename the file and provide the HTTP/FTP password, if required. The program supports several download engine algorithms, such as Wget, Aria2, CURL and Axel. You may switch between them for each task.
The application allows you to control the download by pausing/resuming it at any time, changing its priority, sending it to a different queue or canceling it altogether. The commands can be accessed from the toolbar or from the context menu.
Queues, filters and schedules
The column on the left of AWGG’s interface allows you to quickly switch between the queues or filter the entries based on their status: complete, in progress, stopped, error or paused. The list of downloads can easily be exported to a text file.
Moreover, it allows you to automate the task, by scheduling the download from a particular URL. The task can be set as a one time or repeated occurrence, based on a daily/hourly schedule. You may also create an ending criteria for the download loop, at a particular date and hour.
Automatic runs and other options
AWGG can start automatically, with Windows and run in the background, so it does not distract you from work. Moreover, you can set it to shut the computer down after a scheduled download is finished or enable the proxy connection. The program can save the entire activity to log files, as well as filter only the most recent tasks.
